Irina Semchenko
Founder, Managing Partner
Irina received her Master’s degree with honors in the Intellectual Property Law and her second Master’s degree in the Chemical Technology and Engineering from the Kharkiv State Polytechnic University. She gained more than 10 years of extensive experience and comprehensive knowledge of the IP prosecution nationally, regionally and worldwide at one of the biggest IP law firms of the Eurasian region.
As an outstanding and trusted professional, she has become an Outside Counsel for a Global Chemical and Technology Company, as well as the constant point of contact for IP related advice for hundreds of national and international clients.
In her daily work Irina follows thoughtful and friendly approach and provides patent, trademark and design filing and prosecution assistance advising clients nationally, regionally and globally.
Irina speaks English, Russian, Ukrainian. She is an active participant of various international IP conferences including the INTA, APAA, AIPPI and other meetings.
Anton Soklakov
Patent and Trademark Attorney, Attorney at Law
Anton received his Master’s degree in the Intellectual Property from Kharkiv State Polytechnic University and his second Master’s degree in Jurisprudence from Yaroslav Mudryi National Law University.
His professional experience in the IP field started while working as an in-house intellectual property specialist at the IP Department of the huge Ukrainian Aviation Manufacturing Enterprise. He further developed his legal knowledge and skills working at a general law firm, where he also handled all IP related work.
Apart from advising the clients on national and international patent registration, he is responsible for handling registration and protection of trademarks and designs in Ukraine and other Eurasian territories. Speaks English, Russian, Ukrainian.
Daria Mikhno
Trademark Agent, Attorney at Law
Daria received her Master`s degree with honors in the Jurisprudence from Yaroslav Mudryi National Law University, gained a broad legal experience during internships in two international law companies, worked as an in-house contract law specialist in an international FMCG company.
She has a strong interest in IP related aspects of the legal profession and constantly improves her knowledge and skills in the IP Law, as well as in the trademark prosecution at the national, regional and international levels.
Daria is responsible for the IP legal consulting of the national and international clients, preparing, filing and prosecution of national and international trademark applications. She speaks English, Russian and Ukrainian.
Aleksandra Syniakovska
Patent Agent
Aleksandra received her Master`s degree with honors in Mechanical and Research Engineering from the National Aerospace University “Kharkiv Aviation Institute” and her Bachelor`s degree in Applied Linguistics from the same university.
She gained more than 5 years of extensive experience and comprehensive knowledge in the patent prosecution nationally, regionally and worldwide at one of the biggest IP law firms of the Eurasian region.
Aleksandra`s main responsibilities are conducting patent searches in patent databases, handling patent prosecution including preparing responses to Office Actions, preparing and filing appeals and oppositions to patent authorities, advising clients nationally, regionally and globally.
She speaks English, Russian, Ukrainian. She is an active participant of various international IP conferences.
Natalia Kuiko
Patent Agent, Translator
Natalia received her Master’s degree in the Applied Linguistics at the National Aerospace University “Kharkiv Aviation Institute”.
While previously working as one of the leading patent translators at one of the international IP firms, she has got a substantial experience in the patent translations in various fields of technology (mechanical engineering and electronics) using recent Computer-Assisted Translation (CAT) tools. Going forward, she also began to deal with patent prosecution both for the national and international clients interacting with the Examiners in the course of the substantive examination, preparing responses to the Office Actions with a high degree of successful outcome, not only in Ukraine, Russia, Eurasia but also in the USPTO and EPO.
While dealing with the patent prosecution, Natalia is also in charge of the Patent Translation work in our company coordinating translation tasks between our in-house and freelance patent translators, monitoring and ensuring the quality and timely delivery of the performed translations to our clients. She speaks English, Russian, Ukrainian.
Valeriia Liamzienko
Patent Agent, Translator
Valeriia received her Bachelor’s degree in English Translation Theory and Practice from V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University, and in Law Science from Volodymyr Dahl East Ukrainian National University. In March 2017 she successfully completed the internship at West-Finland College. In November 2017 she has become a Winner of the Contest of Works For Improving the Activity of the Ukrainian Prosecutor’s Office.
Her extensive experience in the legal translation enables her to provide accurate, quick and reliable translation of our client’s legal documents, to proofread the same from the grammatical and legal point of view, as well as to advise proper legal documents drafting.
Being also well-trained in the Intellectual Property Law Valeriia is also involved into the patent prosecution work mainly dealing with formality issues of the patent registration process. Speaks Russian, Ukrainian, English, German.
Arkadii Marchenko
Patent Translator
Arkadii received his Master’s degree with honors in “Department of Genetics and Cytology”, School of Biology from V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University and gained more than 10 years of experience in translations from English into Russian and Ukrainian.
During his work at one of the biggest IP law firms of the Eurasian region, Arkadii successfully developed his skills and knowledge in the field of patent translation.
He also has practical experience in applied science: performing a variety of laboratory tests, technique development and biological experimentation for recombinant protein producing and biomolecular researches in one of the Scientific Research Centers and in a private commercial laboratory.
Arkadii is familiar with major CAT-systems and specializes on translations of patent applications, specifications, clients’ instructions and office actions, manuals, guidance, protocols, leaflets, articles, website localizations etc in the field of life-sciences. He speaks English, Russian, Ukrainian.
Liudmyla Kovalenko
Patent Administrator, Accounting Specialist
Liudmyla has 15 years of experience in accounting and management handling for the international contract research organization.
At IP Trend Eurasia her duties include accurate processing of documentation, prompt carrying out and recording transactions with clients, partners and Patent Offices, maintenance of the staff accounting, ensuring an adequate internal control and efficiency of procedures and processes within the departments and ensuring the accuracy of accounting and financial reporting.
